This is another recipe from The Big Book of Preserving the Harvest by Carol W. Costenbader. It is supposed to calm the nerves and digestive tract. If you grow your own herbs and dry them, it is really good, but you can use storebought.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup dried lavender flowers
1/2 cup dried mint
1/2 cup dried rosemary leaves
1/4 cup dried chamomile
1/4 cup dried clove
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients and store in an airtight container away from heat, moisture and light.
2. Use 1 tsp of the mix per 6 oz. of boiling water, using a tea ball or teapot and strainer. Let steep for 5-8 minutes.
