Quick Oriental Spaghetti

I do not remember where I got this recipe. We've been cooking this dish at our house for years. It's very easy and delicious and can be adapted for vegetarians by leaving out the meat.
Ingredients:
1 lb beef or 1 lb chicken
1/4 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 (14 ounce) can chinese mixed vegetables or 1 (16 ounce) package frozen chinese mixed vegetables
10 3/4 ounces chicken broth
1 cup water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
7 ounces spaghetti, broken
3/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 cup green onion (garnish)
Directions:
1. Brown meat with Garlic.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
3. Heat to boiling.
4. Reduce heat and cover.
5. Simmer about 25 minutes.
6. Serve immediately and garnish with Green Onions.
