Looking for a traditional side to an Italian dish? Well, why not garlic bread? This garlic bread recipe is so fast and easy, you'll absolutely love it! There are two variations of it, so i will include ingredients and directions for both. Read more . As always, enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 loaf french or italian bread
variation 1
6oz butter, melted
garlic powder or garlic spread or garlic salt
1/2 tbsp parsley, chopped (only if using either garlic powder or garlic salt. garlic spread has herbs in it.)
shredded mozzarella (optional)

3 large garlic cloves, crushed and chopped
1/2 tbsp parsley, chopped.

Directions:
1. Slice bread loaf in half, lengthwise, with a serrated bread knife.
2. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
3. Variation 1:
4. With pastry brush, brush half of melted butter on inside of one half of the loaf. Brush the rest of the butter on the other half.
5. Sprinkle garlic powder/garlic salt/garlic spread (PICK ONE!) all over the bread where it is buttered. Be careful not to use too much!
6. Sprinkle parsley evenly over garlic and butter.
7. If desired, sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over garlic, butter, and parsley.
8. Wrap bread halves in foil and place on a half sheet tray.
9. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes or until edges of bread are slightly toasted.
10. Variation 2:
11. Mix minced garlic in a small bowl with the butter.
12. With a pastry brush, brush half of the melted butter/garlic mixture on the inside of one half of the loaf. Brush the rest of the butter on the other half.
13. Sprinkle parsley evenly over garlic and butter.
14. If desired, sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over garlic, butter, and parsley.
15. Wrap bread halves in foil and place on a half sheet tray.
16. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes or until edges of bread are slightly toasted.
17. **NOTE: Makes a perfect side dish for literally ANY Italian dish.
