This cobbler has a different twist to it. You make a sauce to go over it.
Ingredients:
1 qt. fruit or berries
1 c. self rising flour
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. sweet milk
1 stick butter or margarine
Directions:
1. Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch pan.
2. In mixing bowl put flour, sugar, egg and milk.
3. Mix well.
4. Pour mixture over butter, don't stir.
5. Drain fruit or berries and put over batter, don't stir.
6. RESERVE JUICE.
7. Bake 45 minutes in 350 degree oven until brown.
8. Boil juice with a little corn starch and make sauce for cobbler.
9. Serves 14 to 16.
