Quick Breakfast in a Glass

This old recipe is one of my favorites. Originally from Esther Shank's Mennonite cookbook, I tweaked it just a bit. This recipe predates worries about raw eggs, so you might consider using an egg substitute instead.
Ingredients:
1 cup skim milk
1/2 cup orange juice
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
tiny pinch kosher salt
1 tablespoon sugar (to taste)
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large glass and whisk.
2. OR combine all ingredients in a blender and process until frothy.
