Quick Beef Stroganoff

This is a very simple & quick version of the traditional stroganoff - my family actually prefers this to the real kind.
Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger
1/2 cup diced onion
1/4 cup butter
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup mushroom
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chives
12 ounces cooked noodles
Directions:
1. Saute onions in butter, add hamburger & brown.
2. Add garlic salt, flour, salt, pepper, paprika & mushrooms. Simmer for 5 or 6 minutes.
3. Add cream of chicken soup and simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Now add sour cream, blending well & simmer for an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
5. Serve hot over noddles & garnish with chives.
