Quick and Delicious Fruit Cobbler

This recipe is fabulously easy and delicious. (It differs from the other quick fruit cobbler recipes in that it doesn't contain butter.) You can make it with any fruit you have on hand - fresh, frozen or canned. Great hot out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla icecream.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups fruit, fresh, frozen, or canned (drained)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Combine sugar, flour, milk, baking powder and salt in bowl.
3. Pour into greased 9 x9 baking pan.
4. Add fruit.
5. Bake 40 minutes.
