Here is a refreshing smoothie-style beverage that you can whip up in almost no time. The yogurt base gives it a smooth texture, and if you use all the blueberries, (fruit and juice) you'll have a more intensely colored explosion . It's a Berry Delicious!!
Ingredients:
1 cup carnation evaporated milk (regular or low-fat)
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt or 1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup pomegranates (combination of both) or 1/2 cup blueberry juice (combination of both)
1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 cup seedless grapes, halved (red or purple)
Directions:
1. In a blender, combine evaporated milk, yogurt, juice, blueberries and grapes.
2. Process on high speed until smooth, pulsing a few times to break up pieces of fruit.
3. Frozen or bottled grape juice can be substituted for pomegranate juice. Pomegranate juice is now found in combination with blueberry juice, and other fruits. Any of these can be used for the juice ingredient.
