I got this recipe in one of my e-mails. It is apparently low fat . I can tell you that it's very good and easy to make. We had it for our treat of the week . I am sure it would really be amazing topped with chocolate icing.
Ingredients:
1 (13 ounce) package brownie mix
3/4 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
1 egg
4 ounces light cream cheese
1/4 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ginger
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350* (325* if using non-stick or glass pan).
2. Beat the brownie mix, pumpkin and egg until smooth. Pour into greased 8 x 8 pan.
3. Combine the cream cheese, 1/4 cup pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon and ginger, creaming until smooth.
4. Drop on batter & swirl through.
5. Bake 25-30 minutes.
