This recipe is delicuose i never ate pumpkin soup before i tried this one and the kids love it aspecially my 6month old also it's not expensive. Ingredients:
1 whole pumpkin |
3 celery ribs (cut into pieces) |
1 onion |
3 chicken stock cubes |
2 cups hot water |
1 cup milk |
1/2 cup cream |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Place all three stock cubes in hot water and let them dissolve. 2. Boil pumpkin,celery and onions until soft then drain put all three into a blender and blend well. 3. Return all three ingredients into pot and return to the stove add stock, milk and salt and pepper (to taste). 4. Let the soup heat up again and at the very last minute stir through the cream (remember cream must go in at the very and or it well curdle). 5. Remove from stove and ENJOY. |
