Ingredients:
4 eggs slightly beaten
1 can(s) 29 ox solid pack pumpkin
1 & 1/2 cup(s) sugar
1 teaspoon(s) salt
2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
1 teaspoon(s) ginger
1/2 teaspoon(s) ground cloves
3 & 1/2 cup(s) half-and-half
2 9 inch unbaked pie shells
2 cup(s) whipping cream
1/2 cup(s) powdered sugar
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl combine first eight ingredients (eggs through half & half. Mix well using an electric mixer. Pour into unbaked pie shells. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce oven to 350 degrees and bake for an additional 45 minutes. Using knife check pies for doness. Knife comes out clean when filling is done. Let pie cool.
2. Whip whipping cream until soft peaks form. Add powdered sugar and vanilla to the whipping cream and mix well. Top pie with whipping cream
