Pumpkin or Squash Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pumpkin or 1 cup squash
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients and beat together with a mixer. pour into pastry lined pie pan.
  2. Bake at 425F for about 20 minutes, then at 375F for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
