MAKE THIS DESSERT AHEAD FOR IT TO HAVE TIME TO CHILL, IF YOU LIKE PUMPKIN THIS IS REFRESHING.
Ingredients:
50 large marshmellows or 6 cups miniature marshmellows.
1 - 16 ounce can pumpkin
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2/3 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon ginger (or use pumpkin pie spice for all above spices 2- 2 1/2 teaspoons)
dash of cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups whipped dessert topping ( dream whip) 2 envelopes
2 cups crused graham crackers
1/2 cup butter or margarine
Directions:
1. IN A LARGE HEAVY SAUCEPAN, AT LOW HEAT, COMBINE FIRST 8 INGREDIENTS AND STIR UNTIL SMOOTH.
2. TAKE OFF HEAT AND COOL AT LEAST 15 MINUTES, BUT WHILE STILL WARM, ADD 3 CUPS OF WHIPPED TOPPING.
3. WHILE MIXTURE IS COOLING, MIX GRAHAM CRACKER CRUMBS AND BUTTER TOGETHER AND ..... RESERVE 1/2 CUP FOR TOPPING.
4. PAT REMAINING REMAINING CRUMBS WITH THE BUTTER MIX INTO A 9X13 INCH PAN.
5. POUR PUMPKIN MIXTURE OVER CRUMBS.
6. TOP WITH ONE CUP MORE OF WHIPPED CREAM AND TOP WITH RESERVED GRAHAM CRACKER CRUMBS.
7. REFRIGERATE SEVERAL HOURS OR OVERNIGHT, CUT INTO SQUARES.
8. YIELDS 15 - 18 SERVINGS
