Pumpkin Cake Squares

This recipe was given to me by my mother and I'm not sure where she obtained it from but she usually makes it around the holidays.
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon ginger
4 eggs
1 cup oil
1 2/3 cups sugar
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin
6 tablespoons softened butter
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
8 ounces cream cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
1. For Cake Squares - mix dry ingredients together and set aside.
2. In separate bowl - mix wet ingredients and blend well. Slowly add dry mix and mix until well blended.
3. Pour into large sheet cake pan that is well greased and floured.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
5. For Frosting - Blend butter and sugar on medium speed, add cream cheese and vanilla and blend until smooth. Spread over cake after it has cooled and cut into squares.
