Healthier version. Will try. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups splenda granular |
2/3 cup shortening |
1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin puree |
2/3 cup water |
4 eggs |
3 1/3 cups whole wheat flour |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Grease two 9 in loaf pans. 3. In a large bowl, combine Splenda and shortening. 4. Stir in eggs, water and pumpkin puree. 5. Add the remaining ingrediets. 6. Bake for 70 to 80 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean. |
