Spicey pumpkin bread that's good with breakfast, brunch, snacks, pot-lucks or any time. Pop a slice in the micro-wave for 20 seconds to enjoy it warm.
Ingredients:
cream
3 c sugar
1 c oil
4 eggs, beaten
add and mix well
1 large can pumpkin or 2 regular size
mix the dry ingredients together and add alternately with water
2/3 c water
3 1/2 c plain flour
2 t baking soda
2 t salt (can leave out)
1 t baking powder
1 t nutmeg, allspice, ginger
2 t cinnamon
1/2 t cloves
Directions:
1. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.
2. Bake 1/1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
3. Test for doneness.
