Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs potatoes
2 onions, chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pinch thyme
3 ounces butter
Directions:
1. Peel potatoes and cut into 1/2 inch slices.
2. Arrange in an 8 inch greased casserole dish.
3. Sprinkle the onion and garlic over the potatoes in layers with the salt, butter and thyme.
4. Pour melted butter over the top.
5. Bake in a moderate oven 180 deg C for 1 hour.
