Puffed Wheat Treats

A delicious snack similar in preparation and style to Rice Krispie Squares, but tastes nothing like them. Although, they taste nothing like them.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
12 cups puffed wheat cereal
Directions:
1. Boil butter, brown sugar, molasses, and corn syrup for 5 minutes.
2. Add vanilla.
3. Prepare puffed wheat in a large bowl. Butter a 12x9 pan.
4. Add boiling syrup to puffed wheat and stir well.
5. Quickly press mix into baking dish and press down with the spoon.
6. Cool, cut, and enjoy!
