A local French Canadian favorite.Best served warm..MMMM! This cake makes its own sauce.
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 cups milk
2 cups light brown sugar
2 cups boiling water
4 teaspoons butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions:
1. Mix first 3 ingredients. Then add the milk.
2. Pour into ungreased 9x13 pan.
3. Mix final 4 ingredients.Let butter melt.
4. Pour over back of wooden spoon over cake batter.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
