For use with Hamantashen. Makes enough to fill about 24 hamentashen. From Mom's recipe box.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup chopped prune
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 lemon, zest of, finely grated
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients in small saucepan. Cook over low heat until prunes are very soft. Puree with stick blender.
