A favorite recipe! Perfect meal to serve with a fresh salad and a Dry White Wine. Delightfully easy to make and you'll be back for more! Enjoy! :)
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cans of tuna or 1large can- drained
- 1 cup of grated gruyere cheese (can be done with sharp cheddar)
- 1 cup of flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 6 tbsp of milk
- 1/2 cup of oil
- ground pepper
- parsley
***optional additions
black olives
capers
shallots
spices
tomatoes
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients,( make a well when adding eggs milk and oil). Then add your Options at this time, but ,add the tuna and the Gruyere last., add like a stuffing.
2. Put in a cake or bread mold, buttered and floured.
3. Bake 40/45 min at 400- 425°F (depends on how hot your oven gets)
4. Don't let it get too brown or it'll be stiff to eat.
5. Serve warm.
