Refreshing gelatin salad. Can be enjoyed as a side dish or as a dessert.
Ingredients:
from: nothing but the best
crust
2 c crushed pretzels
3/4 c butter, melted
3 t sugar
filling
1 - 8 oz pkg. cream cheese
1 c sugar
1 - 8 oz pk whipped topping
topping
1 - 6 oz box strawberry jell-o
2 c boiling water
2 - 10 oz pk frozen strawberries
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. For crust, combine all ingredients and press into a 9X12-inch pyrex pan.
3. Bake 8 minutes.
4. Cool.
5. For Filling:
6. Beat cheese and sugar together.
7. Fold in whipped topping and spread over crust.
8. For topping:
9. Dissolve Jell-O in water.
10. Add strawberries.
11. Cool in refrigerator for 10 minutes.
12. Pour mixture over filling and chill until congealed.
