Ingredients:

  • 1 (16 oz) bag pretzels
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 (3 oz) packages strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 2 (10 oz) packages frozen strawberries

Directions:

  1. Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter and sugar.
  2. Press this mixture in a 13x9 baking pan.
  3. Bake 10 minutes in a 375 degree oven. Cool.
  4. Combine cream cheese and sugar and mix well.
  5. Add cool whip to mixture and blend well.
  6. Pour over cooled pretzel layer.
  7. Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
  8. Add frozen strawberries and stir until strawberries thaw and gelatin starts to thicken.
  9. Pour over cream cheese layer.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until firm.
  11. Cut into squares.
