Outstanding Ice Cream I Imagined Myself. Hope You Like It As Much As I Do!!!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 dash salt
1/3 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup whipping cream (heavy)
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips
1 cup shredded coconut
1/3 cup coconut rum (optional)
Directions:
1. Combine The First Four Ingredients In A Small Saucepan And Bring To A Boil. After Coming To A Boil Remove From Heat, Cover, And Let Steep Until Cool. Once It Reaches Room Temperature Strain, Put In An Airtight Container, And Chill In Fridge, At Least 2 Hours (Preferably 40 Degrees Fahrenheit).
2. Get Ice Cream Maker Ready!
3. After Chilled, Thoroughly Combine Milk Mixture, Cream, Sweetened Condensed Milk, And Vanilla.
4. Pour Into Icecream Maker.
5. When The Ice Cream Is About 5-10 Minutes From Being Done You Can Add In The Chocolate Chips, Shreeded Coconut, And If Your Feeling A Little Crazy, The Rum.
6. *Heavy Cream Can Be Substituted For The Sweetend Condensed Milk, Altough I Find It Freezes Harder And Does Not Taste As Good.*.
