The ingredients are in metric so I've had a bit of trouble converting. The first time I made them they were GREAT. The second time I made them, they burned terribly. I'm hoping the measurement conversion here will help remedy any errors. Ingredients:
125 g butter |
150 g soft brown sugar |
125 g crunchy peanut butter |
75 g honey |
200 g porridge oats (not jumbo oats) |
150 g dried fruit, pine nuts, almonds, etc (mixed) |
Directions:
1. Line a 20cm square tin. Put butter, sugar, peanut butter and honey into a large pan on a very low heat till melted. Stir in oats, dried fruit, nuts and seeds. Put in tin. Sprinkle a few nuts on top. Bake at 160 degrees Celsius for approx 30 minutes. Let cool. Cut into squares. |
