Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup whipping cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
Directions:
1. Cream butter. Gradually add sugar; beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with cream, beginning and ending with flour. Stir in flavorings.
2. Pour batter into a well-greased 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 25 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool in pan 20 minutes. Remove cake from pan, and place on wire rack, to cool completely.
