Potluck Gooey Butter Cake |

A unique cake-the batter will be gooey, as the title describes. It's so yummy though and my family asks for it all the time! And it disappears at potlucks! Add a little fruit to top it off with if you'd like. Ingredients:
1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup melted butter or 1/2 cup margarine |
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar |
2 eggs |
8 ounces cream cheese (softened) |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Mix 1st layer ingredients and spread into buttered 9x13 cake pan. Note: This mixture will be very gooey, and will not pour out. You have to use a mixer and you have to spoon it out.
2. Then mix together 2nd layer ingredients and pour over first mixture. Bake at 350ยบ till golden brown, approximately 35-40 minutes.
