I got this receipe way back in the 1980's for a magazine called Family Circle . I'm not sure if its still around or not, since I've been gone for over 20yrs, but the receipe has stayed with me all this time its's one of my family's favourite receipes. Its fast and very easy to prepare, I do hope you all enjoy it.

2 lbs potatoes
3 tablespoons heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to you taste)
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 1/2 tablespoons butter
3 large garlic cloves (finally chopped)
6 ounces brie cheese, sliced or 6 ounces camembert cheese, with rind removed sliced
2 -3 tablespoons chopped chives
Directions:
1. Cook potatoes in boiling salted water to taste and cover for about 20 minute or till tender.
2. Drain and peel your potatoes. Now mash the potatoes with the heavy cream in a large bowl, season with pepper.
3. Meanwhile melt the butter in a small pan, and saute the garlic for abou 1 minute. Now you may add in the Brie cheese and stir till completely melted.
4. Stir the melted cheese mixture into the mashed potatoes, and garnish with.
