5-Ingredient Fix Contest Entry. I have been making this casserole for over 30 years. Simply Potatoes has made it so much easier & faster! It literally only takes 5 minutes of prep time now! I always serve this with a green salad. I usually use the hot green chiles as our family likes spicy food!
Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package simply potatoes diced potatoes with onion
4 boneless pork chops
4 -8 ounces canned hot or mild diced green chili peppers (depending on how spicy you like it)
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
salt or pepper
Directions:
1. Spray a casserole dish generously with cooking spray.
2. Empty the potatoes with onions into dish. Salt & pepper potatoes lightly.
3. Spread with the diced green chile.
4. Lay the pork chops on top of the chile.
5. Spoon cream of mushroom soup over all and spread evenly.
6. Cover with casserole lid or aluminum foil.
7. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes.
