this is a recipe i got and grew on from Mexico. Dinners are always a hit with this added to fish, pork ,chicken.
Ingredients:
4 potatoes washed and sliced thin
1 big onion sliced thin
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 can of cheddar soup
3 tblsp hot chili powder or to taste
1/2 cup milk
1 tblsp garlic powder
1/4 cup bacon bits for topping
1 cup grated chedder cheese for topping and center layer
1 good spray of pam or cooking spray
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 325
2. place sliced potatoe to line bottom of cassarole dish
3. then layer onions
4. then half can of chicky soup spread accross layer
5. then half can of chedder soup spread on top of chicky soup
6. then more potatoes layered
7. onions to taste
8. sprinkle chilli powder over and add remaining soup to top
9. one more layer of potatoes and then add the bacon bit on top and top with grated chedder
10. bake for 2 hours 325
