Potatoes and Onions (Dutch Recipe)

Found this recipe on for recipes of the Netherlands. Sounds yummy. It doesn't state how to cook the potatoes, after peeling, for 15 minutes, but I am assuming that you boil the potatoes for 15 minutes, then cool and slice.
Ingredients:
8 potatoes, peeled and cooked 15 minutes
3 onions, cleaned and sliced
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup beer
2 tablespoons butter
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Slice the potatoes.
2. Fry the onions three minutes in the hot butter, add the potatoes and fry 5 minutes more.
3. Take the potatoes and onions out and put them on a plate.
4. Stir the flour into the hot butter and simmer for 2 minutes.
5. Stir in the beer and bring to the boil.
6. Pour this sauce over the potatoes.
