This is from my Mom's recipe cards. I have not tried this recipe.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup onion, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
2 quarts potatoes, riced and hot
1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon celery seed
Directions:
1. Melt butter in skillet.
2. Add onions and celery.
3. Cook stirring frequently, about 5 minutes.
4. Add seasoning.
5. Cook about 3 minutes longer.
6. Add to remaining ingredients and mix well.
