Every time I make this soup, someone wants the recipe.
Ingredients:
6 potatoes, diced
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon celery salt
2/3 teaspoon pepper
8 slices bacon
6 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
Directions:
1. Cover potatoes, onion, celery, salt, and pepper with water and cook until tender.
2. Fry bacon saving 6 T of dripping.
3. Make white sauce with bacon drippings flour and milk.
4. Add white sauce to soup, crumble bacon and add to soup.
5. Heat thoroughly.
