Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 4 cups flour
  • bench flour

Directions:

  1. Proof yeast in 1 cup warm water with the honey.
  2. Mix in mashed potatoes and eggs.
  3. Heat milk in microwave till warm; add butter.
  4. Mix in to yeast mixture.
  5. Add flour and knead (I needed to add more flour just until not sticky).
  6. Let rise till doubled.
  7. Make into rolls and put on cookie sheet.
  8. Let rise until doubled.
  9. I sprinkled flour on with sifter VERY LIGHTLY over the top.
  10. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 -20 minutes or until browned.
