Do we know how to use potatoes in Idaho or what?? You'll love this way. Doughnuts are good any time of the day!!!!!!
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons butter, melted
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups cold mashed potatoes
1 cup milk
4 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
oil (for frying)
Directions:
1. Cream sugar and butter.
2. Add eggs.
3. mix well.
4. Mix potatoes and milk.
5. Mix dry ing.
6. Add potato mixture and dry mixture alternatly,and mix well.
7. Roll out on a floured board to 1/2 in thick.
8. Cut with doughnut cutter.
9. Fry in oil heated to 375*, until brown and inside is done.
