Potage Du Jardin (Garden Vegetable Soup)

Very simple vegetalbe soup. Don't be fooled by the ease, it's tasty. My children ask for it.
Ingredients:
2 quarts vegetable stock
1 onion
1 zucchini
1 carrot
1 celery rib
3 cabbage leaves
1/2 cup pastina
salt
pepper
Directions:
1. 1. Cut vegetables into small slices julienne style.
2. 2. Place stock in a soup pot. Add the vegetables and cook over medium heat for 40 minutes.
3. 3. Add the Pastina, salt, and pepper and continue cooking for another 10 minutes. Serve.
