Port Sharp Cheddar Cheese Spread

If you can keep from eating this right away, it will firm up some in the fridge, and the flavors meld better after 2 or 3 days. My grandkids LOVE this stuff!
Ingredients:
2/3 c. port wine
1/4 c. butter
1 lb. extra sharp cheddar, grated
1/2 c. sour cream
6 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Directions:
1. Microwave the wine with the butter for 20 seconds to soften butter.
2. In a separate bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients. Mix well!
3. Stir in the wine/butter mixture.
4. Spoon into food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.
5. I have a small food processor, so I have to blend in 3 separate batches. That's why it's important to mix all the ingredients together well before batch blending in the processor, so each batch comes out the same.
6. Serve on crackers or stuffed in celery.
