My mom used to make these around the holidays at breakfast, or for appetizers at parties. Easy and yummy!
Ingredients:
1 lb pork sausage
8 ounces soft cream cheese
1 lb loaf white bread
1 lb bacon, sliced and cut in half
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 275.
2. Brown the sausage in a skillet and drain.
3. Mix in the cream cheese until melted.
4. Take the crusts off the bread and cut in half.
5. Spread some cheese mixture on bread halves, top with a bacon slice, roll, and secure with a toothpick.
6. Bake on a cookie sheet for 30 minutes, or until bacon is done and rolls are browned (I recommend turning them once during baking).
