Ingredients:
1 egg beaten
5 cup(s) finely shredded chinese cabbage
4 clove(s) garlic minced
1 3/4 pound(s) ground pork
1 tablespoon(s) minced fresh ginger root
3 tablespoon(s) sesame oil
4 tablespoon(s) soy sauce
2 tablespoon(s) thinly sliced green onion
100 piece(s) wonton wrappers
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine pork Ginger garlic green onions soy sauce sesame oil egg and cabbage. Note: I Used coleslaw instead of chineses cabbage. Stir until well mixed
2. Place one heaping teaspoon of pork filling onto each wonton skin. Moisten eges with water - I used egg white - set on lightly floured surface u till ready to cook
3. Steam dumplings in a covered bamboo or metal steamer for about 15 - 20 minutes
4. Note - my prefered method. Fry in pan with one tablespoon of oil. Put 1/2 cup of waterr I. Pan and cook on med high for 5-7 minutes.remove cover and cook another 2 minutes (i used non stick pan)
5. Sauce- 2 tbls soy. 2 tbls rice vinegar. 1 tbls sunflower oil. Add green onions.
