Porcupine Meatballs

Another recipe from my childhood and my kiddos like it too!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup instant rice
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup onion, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 (15 ounce) can tomato soup
2/3 cup water
Directions:
1. Mix meat, rice, 1/2 cup water, onion, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
2. Shape rounded tablespoonfuls into balls.
3. Brown meatballs in skillet.
4. Mix together tomato sauce and 2/3 cup water and pour over meatballs.
5. Reduce heat.
6. Cover and simmer 50 minutes,.
