Yummy polenta, oven toasted to perfection.
Ingredients:
2 cups corn meal
4 tbsp whole wheat flour
4 tbsp italian seasoning
1 tbsp black pepper
3 tbsp minced garlic
3 tbsp dehydrated onion
2 tbsp chicken bouillon
4 tbsp sesame seeds
7 cups water
1 tbsp black pepper
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a large Microwavable bowl.
2. Boil water in tea kettle.
3. Add water to dry ingredients, mix until smooth.
4. Microwave on High for 4 minutes.
5. Stir thouroughly.
6. Microwave on High for another 3 minutes.
7. Stir (mixture will be thick)
8. Refrigerate over night.
9. Turn out onto plate (Mixture will be jelled up into a mold of the bowl)
10. Slice into 1/8 slices.
11. Lay on an olive-oiled baking sheet.
12. Bake at 450 for 20 minutes.
13. Turn over.
14. Bake for another 10 minutes.
15. Will be done when browned and crispy.
16. Serve hot with mustard or other spread.
