Plum Good Teriyaki Chicken

Quick chicken for a week night dinner.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup plum jam
1/4 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
1/4 cup dry vermouth
4 boneless chicken breasts
1/2 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 cup sliced sauteed mushroom
Directions:
1. Brown chicken in the sesame oil.
2. Remove chicken from the pan and add the jam, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and vermouth.
3. Stir until smooth and hot including any bits from the chicken.
4. Put the chicken back in the pan and simmer till chicken is cooked about 15 minutes.
5. Stir in whipping cream and sauteed mushrooms.
6. Serve over rice.
