Pizza Dipping Sauces Copycat Papa Johns

A great recipe for Papa John's dipping sauces. The first 2 are done in the microwave and the pizza sauce is done on the stovetop and simmered 15-20 minutes. The cook time I've listed are for the ones that are microwaved. Read more . Photo courtesy of
Ingredients:
special garlic sauce
1/2 cup margarine, spread
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
cheese sauce
1/2 cup milk
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cheez whiz
2 teaspoons jalapeno juice, from canned jalapenos (nacho slices)
pizza sauce
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato puree
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon basil
1/8 teaspoon thyme
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
1. Special Garlic Sauce.
2. Combine ingredients in a small bowl.
3. Mix well until completely blended.
4. Place the bowl into the microwave and cook on 1/2 power for 20 seconds.
5. Stir to blend.
6. Makes 1/2 cup.
7. Cheese Sauce Combine cornstarch with milk in a small bowl and stir until cornstarch has dissolved.
8. Add the Cheez Whiz to the mixture.
9. Stir well to combine.
10. Then place the bowl in the microwave and cook on high for 1 minute.
11. Remove the bowl and stir until smooth.
12. Add the juice from jalapeno slices, and stir.
13. Makes 1/2 cup.
14. Pizza Sauce
15. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat.
16. Stir well as you bring the mixture to a boil.
17. When the sauce begins to bubble, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
18. Stir often as it simmers to avoid sticking and to ensure an even mix.
19. Makes 1 cup.
