My cousin gave me this recipe after bringing the cake for Christmas, it is from her husbands Italian Aunt. Very moist & extremely delicious!
Ingredients:
**cake
1 box if white cake mix
1 box of instant pistachio pudding
3/4 cup oil
4 eggs
3/4 cup plus 1 tbs water
1 cup chopped walnuts
** frosting
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tbs butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup or less water
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. For the cake mix all of the ingredients (minus the walnuts) together & beat for 2 minutes.
3. Pour mixture into a greased & lightly floured 9x13 pan. Sprinkle top with chopped walnuts.
4. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
5. For the icing mix together all ingredients until smooth & pour over warm cake. Return to the oven for 5 minutes.
