This is a sweet, very hot mustard sauce that is good with any ham recipe and on sandwiches. It is from the Pirates Pantry cookbook published by the Lake Charles La. Junior League, which no southern cooking aficionado should be without.
Ingredients:
2 ounces coleman's dry mustard
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 beaten egg
Directions:
1. Combine Coleman's mustard and white vinegar and allow to stand unrefrigerated overnight.
2. Combine ingredients and heat in small saucepan over low heat.
3. Bring to boil and allow to boil for 1 minute.
4. Hang on to your curlies and enjoy.
