Interesting take on pineapple upside down cake. Very tasty and easy. Ingredients:
1/4 c packed brown sugar |
2 tbs butter |
1 tbs light corn syrup |
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon |
1 8-1/4 oz. can pineapple slices or tidbits,drained |
1 pkg.(10) refrigerated biscuits |
Directions:
1. In small saucepan,combine brown sugar,butter,corn syrup and ground cinnamon. Cook till sugar is dissolved,stirring constantly. 2. Meanwhile,in an 8x1-1/2 round baking pan,arrange drained pineapple slices. Seperate biscuits;set asode. 3. Pour brown sugar mixture over pineapple in baking pan. Arrange biscuits in single layer over pineapple. 4. Bake at 400 degrees for 18 to 20 mins or till biscuits are golden brown. Carefully invert onto serving platter. Serve warm. |
