My family does not really like hot or spicy so this is for those who like salsa but like it on the sweet side.
Ingredients:
8 ounces pineapple slices (i like to set aside the juice and add it later)
2 tomatoes (chopped)
1 -2 fresh garlic clove
2 -3 teaspoons cilantro
1/2 teaspoon salt (our family uses rock sea salt)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice (i used fresh lemon and squeezed it from 1/2 of a lemon)
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl- including seasoning. Taste and if you prefer to add more seasoning or hot spices, peppers feel free.
2. Add 1/2 of the set aside pineapple juice and then use a chopper to chop all of the ingredients. Once the ingredients are chopped up add the remaining pineapple juice and chill for one hour.
