This salsa is not for the faint of heart (hence the name) and is very HOT by nature as I use the whole pepper. To turn the heat down split the peppers and take all the seeds out. This will dramatically lower the heat of this salsa.
Ingredients:
the salsa
* 1/4 cup onions
* 1 can whole tomatoes
* 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
* 1/4 cup fresh parsley
* 1 tsp all purpose adobo
* 1 green pepper
the fire
* 1 habañero
* 1 jalapeño
the tropical
* 9 cubes mango
* 9 cubes pineapple
Directions:
1. Note For frozen goods nuke for a 45 seconds to get them a lil soft for better blending in the food processor or blender Note2 This salsa is not for the faint of heart (hence the name) and is very HOT by nature as I use the whole pepper. To turn the heat down split the peppers and take all the seeds out. This will dramatically lower the heat of this salsa. The Idea behind this fiery sweet salsa blend came from an old friend of mines mother from Puerto Rico who loved putting tropical fruit to accent salsa. After experimenting a few times Ive got it to where I want it. Its fairly simple, easy to make, and tastes great! After getting all the ingredients together go fetch your food processor/blender
2. Add The Salsa minus the tomatoes into the processor. Pulse it a few times to get everything a bit cut up to get their juices running into each other.
3. Take the majority of the mixture out of the processor and add The Fire and repeat the pulse process as explained in step 1
4. Add in the rest of the ingredients to the processor and pulse till you gain your desired texture.
5. Grab your favorite tortilla chip, or some of your best tacos and let the fires burn!
