This pickled shrimp recipe is from my WINOS cookbook (Women In Need Of Sanity). This is a quick and easy appetizer. Plan ahead, this must be refrigerated several hours or overnight.
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups dry white wine
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup garlic vinegar
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
4 drops tabasco sauce
1 dash allspice
6 cups shrimp, shelled, cooked and cooled
Directions:
1. Mix first 7 ingredients.
2. Pour over shrimp.
3. Refrigerate several hours, or overnight.
