Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Boil water
  2. Rinse lettuce and chop off the root
  3. Add all spices to water, add garlic, oil and vinegar
  4. Mix well and test - marinade should be zesty, moderately sweet and sour
  5. Make corrections if necessary to please your taste buds
  6. Submerge lettuce leaves into marinade completely.
  7. Leave to cool and refrigerate for at least 1 hour
  8. Serve as a side dish with meat or fish
